Meet Erika

Hi, I'm Erika! I'm an Associate Therapist (APCC & AMFT) who understands that therapy can be challenging, overwhelming and sometimes awkward! That's why developing a strong connection with all of my clients is really important to me. I'll meet you where you are, without pressure or rushing you. Whether you're struggling with eating disorders, trauma, addiction, anxiety, or depression, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

HOW I APPROACH THERAPY:
Life can throw some serious curveballs, and sometimes it feels overwhelming. Maybe you're struggling with an eating disorder, the after-effects of a traumatic experience, or the heaviness of anxiety or depression is interfering with your day-to-day. Perhaps addiction is keeping you stuck, or you are simply looking for more joy and fulfillment. Whatever your journey, therapy can be extremely helpful for navigating these challenges and creating a happier, healthier you.
 
Therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all solution, and that's where I come in. We'll work together to create a personalized plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. I understand that opening up can be challenging, and sometimes therapy feels awkward at first. That's okay! I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, without pressure or rushing the process. We'll work together at your pace to develop a strong connection and find the tools you need to thrive.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): This powerful technique can help you process and heal from past trauma.

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): CBT equips you with tools to manage anxious thoughts and negative patterns that might be holding you back.

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): DBT provides you with valuable skills for building healthy coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships.

  • Somatic work: This approach helps you connect your mind and body by exploring how physical sensations relate to your emotional state.

Whether you're looking for individual therapy (adults and teens 14yrs+ welcome!), couples counseling, family support, or even a supportive group therapy option (I offer virtual 8-week group therapy programs!), I'm here to assist. I provide a safe and judgment-free space where you can openly explore your challenges and work towards positive change.
 
I offer flexible therapy options to fit your needs. I provide virtual therapy (Telehealth) for California residents, making therapy accessible from the comfort of your own home. For those who prefer in-person sessions, I'm located in Redondo Beach, CA.
